New Scholarship Applications for Seniors

If you are planning on attending Chipola College or Pahandle Technical Center, the Kiwanis applications are now available on the scholarship desk in Ms. Stafford's Office. The deadline to apply is April 15th. Don't forget the Community South Application is to be postmarked by March 31st. In general all scholarship applications can be found on the scholarship desk.

Also, parents of seniors wishing to apply for FAFSA, please fill out the FAFSA application as soon as you are finished filing your 2015 income taxes. The application can be found on FAFSA website.

Chipola College Dual Enrollment Program Meeting

February 17, 2016

On Friday February 19th at 10:00am Ms. Cauley will be here from Chipola to talk with students who are interested in taking dual-enrollment classes next year. Ms. Bailey will also be meeting with 12th grade immediately following to discuss Chipola Scholarships.

45 Quart Yeti Cooler Contest

February 12, 2016

The FFA is hosting a drawing for TWO 45 Quart Yeti Tundra coolers. Coolers will be presented to winners on Monday, April 11th at the BHS FFA Chapter Banquet. If you would like to be entered for a chance to win, you can purchase a ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20 from Mr. Stafford or any of the FFA Members. You do not have to be present to win and shipping is available.

FSA Writing Assessment

February 11, 2016

The FSA Writing Assessment will be administered beginning February 29th-March 3rd. 
6th-8th grades will test on Monday, February 29th. 9th grade will test on Tuesday, March 1st, 10th grade will test on Wednesday, March 2nd and Thursday, March 3rd, retakes will be administered.

Basketball Tournament Benefit

There will be a 3-on-3 Basket Tournament Benefit on Saturday, February 20th at Bethlehem in the Gym. Registration will be from 8:00-8:30 a.m. & the cost is $10 per person. Contact the school if you have any questions.

President's Day Holiday

School will be closed on Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day.

Cap & Gown Portraits: Seniors

February 1, 2016

Cap & Gown Portraits will be taken of the Senior class on Thursday, February 18th beginning at 8:30 a.m. Also, any student in Kindergarten or 5th grade who was absent or needs a retake will have their photos taken as well.

January 28, 2016

Cap & Gown portraits will be taken of Kindergarten and 5th grade students on Thursday, January 28th. Order forms will be sent out with students on Friday, January 8th, and will be due back to Mrs. Hayford on picture day. School Holiday

School will be closed on Monday, January 18th, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Classes will resume as usual on January 19th.
