Youth League Basketball

Sign ups for youth league basketball are going on now for students in Kindergarten-5th grade. The deadline to sign up is October 7th. See the sign up sheet below for more details. If you have any questions, contact Julie Lassiter.
The FFA & FBLA are hosting their annual steak dinner fundraiser on Friday, September 30th from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM in the BHS Cafeteria. Tickets are on sale now for the cost of $12/each. Plates include a steak, salad, baked potatoe, roll, and dessert. If you are interested in purchasing a plate, please call the school and ask to speak with Carrie Hayford or Russ Stafford.

There have been some updates the the Middle School girls basketball schedule we wanted you to be aware of.

The game on September 13th against Graceville will only be played by the A team at 5:00 PM; however all girls on B team will need to dress out and plan on attending.

The game against Chipley on September 19th has been cancelled.

Volleyball Game Time Change

Tonight's volleyball game against Graceville has been moved up to 5:00 P.M. This is a Varsity ONLY game.
There have been some changes in the volleyball schedule that we would like you to be aware of. The game on Thursday, September 8th, against Graceville will be a Varsity ONLY game and will be played at 6:00 PM. Also, the in school game from last Friday has been rescheduled for this Friday at 1:00. This, too, will be a Varsity ONLY game. The game against Franklin County has been rescheduled for October 5th.
All Holmes County Schools will be closed on Friday, September 2nd due to the inclement weather. All after school activities for Thursday, September 1st (TODAY) will also be cancelled. School will release as scheduled at 2:35 P.M. today. Please make sure your student is picked up in a timely manner if they are not bus riders. We hope you all stay safe and enjoy the Labor Day Weekend.

School Picture Day

Fall picture day will be held on Wednesday, August 28th for students in PreK-11th grade.
Holmes District Schools will be in session as usual on Thursday, September 1.  All after-school and evening activities have been cancelled.  School officials and Emergency Management will continue to monitor the weather conditions closely and will make a decision regarding Friday sometime tomorrow.  Please stay tuned to local news media and this website for updates.

The Bethlehem High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will be hosting a disaster relief project in an effort to help the flood victims in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We will be collecting donations from now until September 9th. The grade who brings in the most items will win a class ice-cream party, we are even going to set up a box in the office for teachers to participate as well.

Items that are needed include the following:

Bottled water, canned goods, non-perishable food

Cleaning Supplies: all-purpose disinfectants (spray and pour), buckets, mops, rubber gloves, paper towels, toilet paper, garden/contractor trash bags, scrub brush, cleaning wipes, sponges, scouring pads, clothespins, clothesline, heavy-duty trash bags, dust masks, work gloves

Baby Care Items: Diapers/pull-ups, wipes, baby formula, baby food, bottles, sippy cups, plates, children’s utensils, pacifiers

Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, combs, hairbrushes, women’s feminine products, first aid kits, bug spray, hand sanitizer

Toys: coloring books, colors, books

Animal Care: Dog food (dry), Cat food (dry), leashes, collars

 

**All donations will be sent to First New Testament Church in Baton Rouge, LA and will be dispersed to disaster victims accordingly. We appreciate any and all help you could give.**

 

 

Book Fair

The book fair will be held at Bethlehem the week os September 12th-16th. Notes will be going home with students as reminders. Don't forget! We hope to see you there.
